The most famous cut diamond: The Golden Jubilee

The Golden Jubilee Diamond – 547.67 carat

The biggest cut diamond in the world has a weight as high as 547.67 carat. It’s color can best be described as brown yellow, which is a very rare fantasy color.

The Golden Jubilee was presented to the king of Thailand in 1997, for the fifth anniversary of his crowning.

Today the diamond is part of the collection of the Royal Museum of Thailand, in Bangkok.
